Sick Day Heads Up

As per contract, for the 2008-2009 school year, all Nurses, Teachers, Tutors and Teaching Assistants will forfeit one sick day from our yearly amount to replenish the sick bank. The contract language reads as follows:  If the sick leave bank is exhauseted, it shall be renewed by the contribution of one additional day of sick leave by each member of the professional staff covered by this agreement. The sick bank is available to all Nurses, Teachers, Tutors, and Teaching Assistants as per contract.  Currently, Secretaries do not have sick bank language in their contract.
